Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing or using Rankiamos ("the App", "the Service"), you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you ("User") and Alejandro Verjel ("Rankiamos", "we"), owner of the App, with address in Bogotá, Colombia.

2. Definitions

• App: mobile application "Rankiamos" available on the Apple App Store for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac. Its interface is in Spanish only.
• Service: set of SEO rank tracking features offered through the App.
• Account: the User's registration that grants access to the Service.
• Subscription: recurring payment plan that enables the Pro plan features.
• User Content: keywords, domains, settings, tags and other data that the User enters in the App.

3. License of use

Rankiamos grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that meet the minimum technical requirements (iOS 17.0+, iPadOS 17.0+, macOS 14.0+, watchOS 10.6+), solely for your own SEO monitoring purposes.

This license does not imply a sale. The App, its source code, design, brand, logos and other elements are property of Rankiamos.

4. Account and registration

To use the Service, you need to create an account with Apple, with Google or with an email and password. You are responsible for:

• Providing truthful and up-to-date information.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
• All activities performed from your account.
• Notifying us immediately of unauthorized use.

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Rankiamos offers the following plans:

• Free: $0/forever, with usage limits. No payment method required.
• Pro Monthly: $14.99/month (prices subject to local Apple App Store currency).
• Pro Annual: $119.99/year (equivalent to $9.99/month).

Payments are processed through the Apple App Store under Apple's terms. Prices may vary by country, local taxes and active promotions. Apple charges your App Store account in the currency of your country's App Store; Rankiamos does not issue its own invoices.

6. Trial period

We offer 7 days free of the Pro plan (monthly or annual) as an Apple introductory offer. To start it, your Apple account must have a payment method on file. At the end of the trial period:

• If you don't cancel before the trial ends, Apple charges the subscription you chose (monthly or annual) and it renews as described in section 7.
• If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged and your account returns to the Free plan.

The trial is offered only once per Apple account.

7. Automatic renewal

Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or annual) until you cancel them. The renewal is charged to the associated Apple ID within 24 hours before expiration.

8. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current billed period; you keep access to Pro until that date. When you go back to the Free plan, since Free allows 2 projects, the other projects are deleted entirely (not just paused); inside the one you keep, your keywords are capped at Free's 5.

Refunds are handled exclusively through Apple under their refund policy. Rankiamos does not process refunds directly.

9. Permitted use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for illegal, fraudulent activities or that infringe third-party rights.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code.
• Access the Service through automated means, bots or unauthorized scripts.
• Resell, sublicense or redistribute the Service without written authorization.
• Monitor third-party keywords or domains for malicious purposes (illegal competitive espionage, etc.).
• Deliberately overload our servers with excessive queries.

10. Intellectual property

The "Rankiamos" brand, logo, App, design, code and all proprietary content are the exclusive property of Alejandro Verjel and are protected by intellectual property laws.

User Content (your keywords, domains, settings) remains yours. You grant us a limited license to process them solely to provide the Service.

11. User data

The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. We comply with:

• Law 1581 of 2012 (Colombia, Personal Data Protection).
• General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU).
• Apple App Store Privacy Guidelines.

12. Service availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates or technical reasons. We will notify in advance when possible.

SERP data from Google and Bing is processed by third parties (DataForSEO). Changes in the terms or availability of these providers may affect the Service.

13. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We do not guarantee that the App is free of errors or bugs.
• We are not responsible for marketing decisions you make based on Service data.
• We are not responsible for changes in Google or Bing algorithms that affect your rankings.
• Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid in the last 12 months.

14. Changes to the terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Significant changes will be notified by email or within the App with at least 30 days notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date implies acceptance.

15. Termination

We may terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice. You may terminate your account at any time: cancel the subscription from your Apple account and delete your account from the App, which erases it instantly. Deleting the App does not delete your account. Upon termination, your access to the Service ceases but previously exported data remains in your possession.

16. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Bogotá, Colombia, without prejudice to the consumer's right to file complaints in their jurisdiction of residence under applicable legislation.
